What is sugarcane pulp?
Sugarcane pulp, also known as bagasse, is a natural by-product of the sugarcane industry. After the juice is extracted from the cane, the remaining fibre is then blended with water to form sugarcane pulp. Additives are combined with the sugarcane pulp, which is then pressed into shape using heat and pressure. This results in high grade compostable food packaging products that are both sturdy and microwavable.
